Town Board Tours AES Somerset
On June 25, AES Somerset, LLC welcomed Somerset Town Board members Richard Meyers, Dudley Chaffee, April Gow, Daniel Engert and Town Engineer Randy Roeseler and provided an extremely informative and detailed tour of the facility and operations related to the landfill. Jon Reimann (AES) provided an open presentation for approximately 2 hours regarding the process of emissions, air and liquid environmental controls that are in place at the plant and Town officials toured the facility and walked on the landfill as part of the visit.
